In a secondary analysis of an exercise-based RCT in women with breast cancer, higher SOC was associated with lower perceived need for psycho-oncological care and demonstrated a favorable trend toward reduced study dropout (relative risk, 0.43; 95% CI, 0.18–1.00), although associations with exercise session attendance and intervention dropout did not reach statistical significance [ 27 ].
