The sentences
Since both endpoints are important for patients and clinicians, achieving both simultaneously is critical.[ 50 ] Furthermore, mirikizumab exhibited a numerical trend toward higher response rates compared to ustekinumab, particularly among patients who had previously failed biologics.[ 50 ] These findings further confirm the favorable benefit–risk profile of anti-IL-23 over anti-IL-12/23 among patients with moderate-to-severe CD, regardless of previous failure to biologics.
The authors observed an increasing trend in remission and response rates associated with IFX.[ 114 ] These results are supported by PURSUIT induction and maintenance trials, which found that SC golimumab significantly improved clinical response rates, remission, and mucosal healing among UC patients by week 6, with efficacy detected as early as week 2.[ 115 ] The clinical response was effectively maintained through week 54, with the 100 mg dose exhibiting superior remission and mucosal healing at weeks 30 and 54.
