In their analysis of 492 M0 NPC patients treated with IMRT, they observed a nonsignificant trend toward worse outcomes with more inferior nodal involvement within the upper/middle levels, with hazard ratios of 1.565 (95% CI 0.909–2.697) for distant failure and 1.520 (95% CI 0.934–2.474) for overall survival when comparing level III versus level II involvement.
