Data from YRBSS revealed a decreasing trend over time in the proportion of students who engaged in sexual behaviours in CNMI (YRBSS 2003–2021) and Guam (YRBSS 1995–2021), with the rate of female respondents reporting having ‘ever had sex’ decreasing significantly from 48.2% to 36.6% (prevalence ratio = 0.8 [95% CI: 0.6–0.9]) in Guam and from 52.1% to 28.2% (prevalence ratio = 0.5 [95%CI: 0.5–0.6]) in CNMI.
