This relatively simple model explains more than 30% of the variance in urine Cr concentration. Chromium dust concentration alone accounted for about 6% of the variance. With the removal of one extreme outlier (also a highly influential point), the significance of Cr dust concentration increased (p = 0.007) and with the additional removal of one high- ly influential point, Cr dust concentration remained highly significant.
