These filters resulted in a 10-fold reduction of the amount of data (from 32439 to 3243 CRUFTS or 6534 to 1593 non-overlapping regions) and increased the enrichment of known ncRNAs 2.17 fold, which is highly significant (p = 6.6e-8) (see Table 1 ).
