In three cases (5.1%), more than one sample was available from the same tumour and in these cases, Ki-67 index varied by no more than 8%. Correlation of Ki-67 index with known prognostic factors Ki-67 index was correlated with known prognostic factors. There was a highly significant positive correlation between Ki-67 index and both T stage (rs = 0.44, P = 0.002) and histological grade (rs = 0.60, P <0.001).
