Al- though less accurate, due to the nature of the endpoint, the protection against lethality correlated with the estimates of protection based on the BUN system. In spite of this highly significant pro- tection against nephrotoxicity, we were unable to detect any change in response of the 3 tumours to cis-Pt in WR-2721 pre- treated mice and rats.
