As expected, there is a highly significant (P=0.001) correspondence of the values estimated with these approaches in all of the types of tumour (Pearson's rho coefficient = 0.6369, n = 22, df= 6), with the only exception of two glioblastomas that display a remarkable difference in the amount of protein detected by WB (4+) compared with that detected by IH (0- +).
