Data were scaled such that EIFl(h,k)l = ElFn(h,k)l;minor adjustments of the relative scales to account for the additional mass of the ligand did not affect the positions of the major difference peaks. We applied statistical tests, as above, to evaluate the differences between the ligand-bound and native structures, and found in all cases, peaks where the difference between the two means were highly significant(<0.1% level).
