The frequency distribution curves of these ratios were of approximately normal dis- tribution and overlapped widely, but the mean wall to lumen ratio of the hy- pertensive group was (24.3 -4- 0.4) (10-2) and for the unilaterally nephrecto- mized group (21.9 q- 0.6) (10-2) giving a critical ratio of 3.3 for the difference of the means, which is highly significant.
