Not only did the latter lipid show a strong preference for a localization in the apical region of the cell, as reflected by the fact that ∼90% of the BCP remained labeled with this lipid during a chase of at least 30 min, there was also an apparent trend of its time-dependent translocation from SAC to the BC.
