Regarding smoking habits (results not shown), results from 2004 showed that tobacco use (smokers, ex-smokers, never-smokers) decreased significantly with age group (χ 2 = 101.9; p < 0.0001); 92.1% of the 18–24 year old group were smokers and 57.2% of the 45–74-year old group, but this trend only showed borderline significance ( p trend = 0.06).
