Although we observed no difference in risk estimates for the association between solvent exposure and ALL risk, our analyses have shown that association between paint exposure and ALL risk was statistically significant for cases with chromosomal structural changes in leukemic cells (OR = 1.96; 95% CI, 1.24–3.10) but of borderline significance for those with numerical changes (OR = 1.48; 95% CI, 0.99–2.21).
