All other efficacy endpoints, including the mean number of nocturnal voids and the duration of the first sleep period until the first nocturnal void, showed a highly significant difference in favor of desmopressin compared with placebo.[ 30 – 32 ] Quality of life analyses also indicated a greater improvement in terms of prevalence, bother, and problems caused by nocturia, in patients treated with desmopressin compared with placebo.
