highly significantno p-value reported
In none of the cases where there was a highly significant correlation between evolutionary rate and the number of interactions (the mass spectrometry, synexpression, gene neighborhood, gene cooccurrence, two study, and combined data sets) did the randomized abundances give a partial τ with a magnitude as small as for the actual data, demonstrating that the reductions in the correlation due to controlling for abundance were highly significant ( P < 10 -4 ).
