Low-pitched bleats increased significantly only for the Romanov (+1.51 ! 1.65, p < 0.01). The number of times the animals came back when driven to the testing pen decreased sharply when there were congeners penned next to the testing enclosure (-1.92 ! 1.86, p < 0.01) which could be seen by the subject while it was being driven to be tested.
