In the current study, we observed modest but highly significant upregulation of both DNMT1 and DNMT3B in the cisplatin-resistant Round5 ( i.e ., treated for five drug cycles) A2780 subline (Table 1 ), suggesting that the altered methylation profile in these cells may be associated with increased or altered DNMT activity.
