When multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed in our cohort, the following factors were highly significant predictors for malignant lymphadenopathy: male gender, increasing age, white ethnicity, supraclavicular lymph nodes and ⩾2 regions of lymph nodes ( Table 6 ).
