The mean difference in scores for the cases and the controls was highly significant for all the domains and the overall QoL; physical (mean diff. 2.79), psychological (mean diff. 3.26), Social (mean diff. 1.33), environmental (mean diff. 2.60) and overall QoL (mean diff. 3.23) as shown by the t -test for independent samples [ Table 1 ].
