Finally, the knowledge of the variations in the dorsal branch of ulnar nerve is important in electrodiagnosis [ 17 ] and may be significant while using forearm flap, nerve block, carpel tunnel release, reconstruction of ulnar bone and other surgical interventions of the forearm and the hand and may help the hand surgeons to interpret discrepancies in sensory loss after either dorsal or palmar injuries.
