These findings together with results from previous studies on SOCS 2 expression in breast cancer [ 30 , 31 ], and the observations from another report confirming higher expression levels of SOCS3 in tissues from patients with lymph node negative breast cancer [ 32 ]; strongly suggest a highly significant negative correlation between SOCS proteins and advancing clinico-pathological stage and poorer differentiation of breast carcinoma.
