One such residue is I344, which lines the T3 channel: I344 shows a highly significant chemical shift perturbation ( Fig. 6 b, red arrow; ∼ 13× above the significance threshold of 0.04 ppm 38 ), indicating a change in the chemical environment of its main-chain N–H group.
