Except N7, N10 and C8 (eventhough N7 position has > 90% while C8 has > 80% level of confidence), the differences in distributions of amino acids for each position in the β -strand are found out to be highly significant. χ 2 values are also calculated by considering the 1634 β -strand sequences excluding the cap positions.
