In the reactive psychosis group, fam- ily history of affective illness was found in two patients and First Rank symptom was not found in either of them. The association between family history 116 FIRST RANK SYMPTOMS IN FUNCTIONAL PSYCHOSES of schizophrenia and First Rank Symptoms was found to be highly significant in both, the schizophrenic and reactive psychosis group (p<0.01), whereas the association between family history of affective illness and First Rank Symptoms was not statisti- cally significant (p > 0.05).
