We predict that class V At FYVE domains target to the membrane with highly significant contributions from non-specific electrostatics and hydrophobic interactions, coupled with specific interactions with PtdIns(3) P and/or PtdIns(5) P using the variant binding residues and an additional conserved motif specific to this class of FYVE domains.
