Although there was a trend towards significance in the frequency of Th1 and Th17 cells in HKTC-immunized mice relative to control mice, this increase was not significant, and there was also no significant increase in Th2 responses, despite the detection of significant levels of IFN-γ + and IL-4 + antigen-specific bulk splenocytes in mice immunized with HKTC.
