Vaccination with Brucella abortus recombinant in vivo-induced antigens reduces bacterial load and promotes clearance in a mouse model for infection.

As shown in Table 1 , mice vaccinated with Mdh showed a markedly significant decrease in bacterial colonization at 14 dpi, providing 2.75 log units of clearance and 2 log units of clearance at 21 days post-infection compared to adjuvant-only treated animals (p<0.001).
