Cannabis and first-episode psychosis: different long-term outcomes depending on continued or discontinued use.

The results were similar for all 3 outcome measures: The outcome was positive and highly significant for the whole sample regardless of cannabis use group (for GAF, F 1,84 = 13.464, P < .001; for PANSS negative, F 1,78 = 18.351, P < .001; for PANSS positive, F 1,78 = 88.127, P < .001), whereas the cannabis group effect was not significant on any of the changes in scores (for GAF, F 2,84 = 0.465, P = .630; for PANSS negative, F 2,78 = 0.344, P = .710; for PANSS positive, F 2,78 = 1.041, P = .358).
