Analysis of semantic enrichment from other database such as Swissprot PIR keywords and Interpro did provide highly significant enrichment of terms such as 'metal-binding' (67 genes, P = 0.0049), 'metalloprotein' (12 genes, P = 2 × 10 -5 ), 'zinc finger, NHR/GATA-type' (6 genes, P = 8.8 × 10 -4 ), 'iron' (13 genes, P = 0.0023), and 'cytochrome P450' (7 genes, P = 0.0019), whilst weaker associations with terms included 'calcium-binding EF-hand' (11 genes, P = 0.015) and 'calcium' (22 genes, P = 0.029).
