Similarly for the posterior temporal and cingulate regions near the left temporal horn (BA 23, 29, 30, 31), the correlations between left relative gray matter volume and left temporal horn volume were −0.54, −0.47, −0.53, −0.42 and highly significant, but correlations with the distant left anterior horn were also significant but not significantly lower (−0.48, −0.42, −0.38, −0.41, respectively, Fisher’s z-tests, 1-tailed, not significant between any corresponding pair).
