This result is reinforced by data extracted from the Oncomine database ( http://www.oncomine.org ), where 3/5 sets that compare expression in GBM with normal brain show highly significant increase in hnRNPH levels (pval<1E-5; Shai et al, 2003 ; Bredel et al, 2005 ; Sun et al, 2006 ) while the other two show increase ( Liang et al, 2005 ; Lee et al, 2006 ), but at lower significance (pvals=0.068 and 0.034, respectively), possibly due to the limited number of normal samples ( Figure 7B ).
