The analysis of variance showed that the multiple regression analysis model was highly significant (F = 13.9, df = 3, p<0.001) with partial regression coefficients demonstrating that this was due to the numbers of larvae collected per week increasing over time (coefficient = 0.17, T = 2.4, p = 0.016) and decreasing with increasing salinity in the ovitraps (coefficient = −0.77, T = −5.8, p<0.001).
