Predictions of Variation in Incidence Rates Regression of log-transformed incidence data in positive municipalities against predicted probability of disease transmission showed a highly significant positive correlation (ln [incidence] = 3.43 + 1.51 x predicted probability, F 1,305 = 19.04, p < 0.001), indicating that the models also have some value in predicting transmission intensity.
