Two other groups that are characterized by significant differences from all the other groups are the populations from the North Caucasus (Dargins, Avars, and Lezgins), the Bashkirs, and the Khakas. The total level of genetic differentiation of the pool consisting of 17 populations turned out to be relatively high ( F st = 0.0267, or 2.67%) and highly significant ( p > 0.00001).
