In sperm whales responses were less clear, but there was an overall trend that deep dives were shorter and shallower during LFAS exposure (Sivle et al., submitted; e.g., sw09_160a in Figure 1 ), and this was often associated with reduced echolocation rates (Miller et al., 2011 ).
