Association between Individual SNPs and Toxicity Analyzing the genotype distribution of the 13 studied SNPs separately against the clinical end-points revealed two associations with borderline significance: (1) the association between the SNP rs701992 in NDUFB4 (NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 beta subcomplex, 4) and the WHO score at 0 weeks of treatment ( P -value 0.055) and (2) the association between the SNP rs1341164 in CYP2C8 (Cytochrome P4502C8) and the WHO score at 8 weeks of treatment ( P -value 0.044).
