[ 13 ] used these measurements for the evaluation of 17 patients with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and showed a nonsignificant trend towards a decrease in systolic and diastolic tissue velocities from the neonatal period until after the second stage palliation, with no difference regarding the type of initial palliation.
