Results of the interim analysis for BRIM-3, at a median follow-up of 3.8 months for patients in the vemurafenib arm and 2.3 months for those in the dacarbazine arm, were presented in the plenary session of the annual American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting in 2011, and revealed highly significant results in favor of vemurafenib.
