In addition, for the MICS, carried out in 2000, the UN IGME used the indirect estimates based on reports of women aged 25–29 y and 30–34 y and excluded data from older women (motivated by poor data quality of the data derived from older women in this survey), while the IHME included the whole series, which shows an increasing trend in U5MR.
