When we combined the heterozygote AG and homozygote AA as a pooled risk genotypes comparison group, assuming a dominant effect of the variant A allele, the combined genotype XA (AG+AA) was associated with a highly significant 56.4% increased risk of higher Gensini score ( p = 0.007, OR = 1.564, 95% CI = 1.132∼2.162) relative to the GG genotype.
