To further explore whether this pattern is significant, a trends analysis was carried out to investigate whether or not said cross-over effect is significant, by assigning appropriate weights for the comparison reflecting a pattern in which going from happy to sad music should lead to a decreasing trend in accuracy of recall of happy faces, but an increasing trend in accuracy of recall of sad faces.
