Follow-up ANOVAs showed highly significant differences between ranges in four thermal variables with non-native localities having a narrower mean diurnal range of temperature (BIO 2; F 1,153 = 299.87, P < 0.0001, R 2 = 0.66), greater temperature seasonality (BIO 4; F 1,153 = 15560.69, P < 0.0001, R 2 = 0.99), lower minimum temperature of the coldest month (BIO 6; F 1,153 = 47.29, P < 0.0001, R 2 = 0.24), and greater annual range of temperature (BIO 7; F 1,153 = 179.08, P < 0.0001, R 2 = 0.54), but no difference in maximum temperature of the warmest month (BIO 5; F 1,153 = 3.41, P = 0.0667, R 2 = 0.02).
