The highly significant results of all these studies [ 2 . 6–8 , 12–25 ] provided a reliable basis for several (ongoing) clinical trials in patients with Hodgkin lymphoma and aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which investigate the value of treatment adaptation based on early response monitoring using interim FDG-PET ( Tables 1–3 ).
