Our study has demonstrated a borderline significant correlation between high pretransplant values of pulmonary arterial pressure and pulmonary vascular resistance and the development of late TR ( Table 3 ); we have also found a statistically significant correlation between high pretransplant values of pulmonary arterial pressure and early TR ( Table 2 ), implying that elevated pulmonary arterial pressure and resistance may be risk factors for developing early and late TR after OHT.
