Simply plotting RFAC of diet, against the RFAC of the resultant mosquitoes, yielded highly significant relationships; in most cases accounting for over 50% of the variability in the data, suggesting that the majority of fats are taken up and preserved indiscriminately, as was evident from the patterns observed in Figure 2 .
