By contrast, in 0.3 pmol MO zatxn7 SPL morphants, we observed a highly significant decrease in the number of Purkinje cells at 5 (90+/−18, n = 5, p <0.0001), 6 (104+/−25, n = 6, p <0.0001), and 7 dpf (143+/−23, n = 6, p <0.0001) ( Figure 6D–6F ), strongly suggesting that partial zebrafish atxn7 depletion partly compromised, but did not slow down Purkinje cell differentiation.
