Likewise, although we find replication evidence for 13q32 and schizophrenia, the most recent meta-analysis [10] failed to yield significant results for this region, suggesting that there may be significant locus heterogeneity between studies and that, if this is a true linkage, then only a subset of families and cohorts show the effect.
