Finally, in a recently published study based on NHANES data, Meeker and Ferguson (2011) found a marginally significant ( p = 0.08) inverse relation between urine BPA concentration and total T 4 among 1,367 adults ≥ 20 years of age (–5.4% per ln unit; 95% CI: 0.01, –11.3) but not among 329 adolescents 12–19 years of age.
