Likewise, Bolton and co-workers successfully identified several loci associated with ovarian cancer susceptibility, but those they initially found to be associated with survival failed to reach significance in the validation set [10] , although it is hoped that future studies of this cohort will result in established associations with clinical outcome [10] .
